How would the world have looked like if then Covid19 crises had happened 10 years ago? Or even 5? No doubt the (economic) impact would have much more severe. Over the past months many companies managed to shift their operations to homework overnight, we have all become video experts and tracing apps might be an important help in opening up the economy again. The attitude to the digital world has changed significantly vs. last year when it was severely criticized, because of privacy scandals, fake news, cyber security and monopolistic behaviour of some of the tech giants. Does this mean that these problems do not count anymore? The opposite is true: The Covid crisis has accelerated the digital transition of our societies, industries and companies and therefore also the urgency to address the questions related to this transition. Professor Annet Aris will discuss the impact of this shift, especially on companies and the lasting implications this has for a post Corona time.
