Technology has solved many problems in society and provided easy access to things we didn’t even know we needed or existed. Why hasn’t technology made the same great impact in education? Why are there still areas of education unreachable to certain students that seem to be so easy to produce and scale through technology? Why hasn't education evolved as much as other areas of our lives? How can we create financial incentives for founders to introduce revolutionary technology to an industry that is so strongly tied to public institutions? These are all questions that edtech founders and investors are trying to solve and address in their pursuit to create change to the industry as we know it. The panelists of this session will explain how they approach these problems and how their work is helping change education as we know it.
