Joyce Weng
Managing Director @Bulgari UK
Joyce Weng has been the Managing Director of Bulgari UK since 2019, following her dramatic transformation of Bulgari’s marketing and communications strategy in China. She headed up Bulgari China’s marketing team as the brand expanded from 7 boutiques to 28 locations. Her success resulted in her appointment as Head of Marketing for Greater China, including China, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan. In this role, Joyce built upon the foundations of her academic experience at Michigan State University and INSEAD to pioneer Bulgari’s repositioning, catapulting Greater China to become the most important market for the brand worldwide. In the UK, Joyce oversaw the creation of a ground breaking philanthropic collaboration with the University of Oxford, establishing the ‘Bvlgari Scholarship’ to support students in vaccine research in the race for a covid-19 vaccination. Joyce continues to lead Bulgari to new heights, reinforcing its position for the UK.
Daragh Kelly
VP, Data & Analytics @Burberry
Daragh Kelly is Global VP Data & Analytics at UK luxury fashion house Burberry, leading data science, customer analytics, consumer research, personalisation and digital analytics across the company. Before Burberry, he held a variety of senior data and insight roles at Sky, Europe's leading direct-to-consumer media and entertainment company, with a focus on data-enabled innovation and business transformation. Prior to Sky, Daragh worked in data and analytics roles across a range of sectors including consultancy, telecoms, digital, media and financial services. Having worked across the creative sector, Daragh is fascinated by the intersection between science and creativity; and he is passionate about the role data and analytics can play in enabling, accelerating and elevating creativity and innovation. Daragh is an economist by training with an MA in Applied Economics.
Theos Evgeniou
Professor of Decision Sciences and Technology Management @INSEAD
Theos Evgeniou is Professor at INSEAD since 2001, working on Machine Learning and AI for the past 25 years, on areas ranging from AI innovations for business process optimization and improving decisions, to data literacy and business transformation practices, AI and regulation, as well as on new Machine Learning methods. He has four degrees from MIT, two BSc degrees simultaneously, Computer Science and Mathematics, a Master and a PhD degree in Computer Science. His work has appeared in leading journals, such as in Science Magazine, Machine Learning, Nature Digital Medicine, HBR magazine, and others. He is currently director of the INSEAD Executive Education programs on “Transforming your Business with AI” and “AI for Business”. He is a member of the OECD Network of Experts on AI, an advisor for the BCG Henderson Institute, and a World Economic Forum academic partner for Artificial Intelligence. He gives talks and consults for a number of organisations in his areas of expertise.
